Tattoo Process and Appointment Policies

Design Process

We will review your design at the beginning of our appointment. During this time, we will have the opportunity to make any minor adjustments we see fit. In scenarios where the design must be significantly reworked, you may be asked to reschedule to a later date. Designs will never be presented over email.

Design/idea changes:

  • You may request design changes, additions, and/or alterations up to one week before your appointment. If you are requesting a placement change, please send along a new placement location photo.

  • If you decide that you wish to completely change your tattoo concept, please notify me at least one week before your appointment. If I feel that I am not given enough time to accommodate your design change, you may be asked to reschedule and submit a new deposit.

Pricing & Estimates

Please note that cost and time estimates are not firm, as it is difficult to gauge how long a tattoo will actually take. If the original estimate no longer feels realistic, we can always complete the work at a later date if necessary. If you have a firm budget, feel free to communicate that before the appointment. I charge for tattooing time only.

Reschedule and Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, I ask that you notify me at least 3 days (72 hours) before your appointment to avoid forfeit of deposit. You are allowed one free reschedule. In emergency scenarios where you are not able to give a timely notice, maintaining an open line of communication with me is still important.

Early arrivals: Anxious about being exactly on time? Coming in early is always okay!  :)

Late arrivals: If you arrive to any appointment more than 15 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule and your deposit will be forfeited. Arriving more than 15 minutes late to a touch-up or consultation will result in a $50 fee, as it will likely affect the time of other clients.

On the Day of Your Tattoo Appointment!

  • Bring cash or Zelle to pay your final balance. We do not have an ATM in the studio.

  • Please check in ahead of time if you plan on bringing an additional guest with you. Our studio is intimate and I want to make sure our capacity remains at a level where all artists can focus and make their best work. :)

  • Make sure you are feeling well! Staying hydrated and well nourished in the hours leading up to your tattoo is key.

  • Shave the area you plan to get tattooed and wear comfortable clothing that will allow easy access to the placement location.

  • Come as you are. I can’t wait to work with you! :)
